Elton John – Tinny Dancer (Almost Famous): En una película claramente de Rock, con un Sountrack de lujo, este tema de Elton John, interpretado en el film durante la gira de la banda protagonista, marcó un momento sublime uniendo a todos para que canten en conjunto. Es una de esas canciones que vale la pena escuchar, y que terminan haciéndose conocidas gracias a la misma película.
2. Iggy Pop – Lust For Life (Trainspotting): Una película de un grupo de heroinómanos, representados por un clásico espectacular de la iguana Iggy.
3. Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody (Wayne’s World): Escena característica de esta peculiar película, con Wayne junto a su amigo Garth y demás vándalos, en su auto cantando este eterno clásico de Queen, revoloteando la cabeza, generando un clímax muy divertido
4. The Doors – The End (Apocalypse Now): “This is the End” enuncia Jim Morrison. Que irónico y que bien queda esta canción épica de los Doors en el arranque de este Film Legendario que fue “Apocalipsis Now”.
5. Paul McCartney – Live and Let Die (Live and Let Die): El ex Beatle compusó esta perla para que forme parte del soundtrack del agente 007, James Bond. Y que manera de hacerlo, terminó transformándose en una de sus mejores canciones.
6. T. Rex – Cosmic Dancer (Billy Elliot): Esta adorable película tiene varios temas para destacar pero el que mejor se empatiza entre ellos es “Cosmic Dancer” de T. Rex.
7. Metallica – I Dissapear (Mission: Impossible II): Una película desechable, secuela de Misión Imposible, que dejó pocas cosas para recordar. Entre ellas se encuentra este temaso de Metallica.
8. Simon & Garfunkel – Mrs Robinson (The Graduate): Un clásico del cine protagonizado por Dustin Hoffman, personificando las aventuras de un tipo recién graduado con la Sra Robinson. Todo representado en esta espectacular canción Simon y Garfunkel, la mejor en la trayectoria del dúo.
9. Bob Seger – All Time Rock N’ Roll (Risky Bussiness): Tom Cruise de joven nos demuestra las cosas que se pueden hacer cuando tus padres te dejan la casa. Y entre ellas la más simbólica es cuando canta en calzones este tema de Bob Seger.
10. Badly Drawn Boy – Silent Sight (About a Boy): La combinación de una canción Hermosa junto a una película que también tiene su encanto propio.

Top Ten de las Mejores Baladas:

1. Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here: Uno de los clásicos de Floyd más aclamados. Su balada definitiva interpretada con guitarra acústica por David Gilmour, la cual nos trae las sensaciones de alienación de Roger Waters y, como todo su álbum homónimo, formó parte del tributo al loquito de Syd Barret.
2. The Beatles – Let it Be: Los Beatles se habrán separado en 1969, pero un año más tarde sería lanzado el álbum que contendría una de sus baladas más famosas junto a “Yesterday”: “Let it Be”.
3. John Lennon – Imagine: ¿Hay canción más conocida de Lennon que esta? Sin dudas es una de las mejores composiciones de la historia, con John cantando con piano sobre mundo ideal. Un total soñador del mensaje de “amor y paz”.
4. The Rolling Stones – Angie: Una de las baladas más rutilantes y encantadoras de los Stones junto a “Wild Horses”. La historia cuenta que Mick Jagger la escribió en dedicatoria a la esposa de David Bowie, Angela. Porque según se dice Bowie los encontró a ambos en la cama.
5. Bob Dylan – Knockin’ on Heavens Door: Golpeando las puertas del cielo, sensaciones de alguien a punto de morir. Otra conmovedora canción de uno de los escritores más legendarios del rock: Bob Dylan.
6. Guns N’ Roses – November Rain: Las ostentosas pretensiones de Axl Rose derivaron en que componga un tema épico de magistral calidad. Rose en piano, como si fuera Elton John, nos relata una historia trágica con un Slash inspirado en guitarra. Y a pesar de ser una canción extensa sus diversos pasajes no tienen desperdicio. Una experiencia sin igual.
7. Radiohead – Creep: La canción que hizo conocido a Radiohead en sus años iniciales. Una de sus baladas más mediatizadas, con su melodía convencional (para ser Radiohead) ambientada en una atmosfera semi depresiva en donde Thom Yorke nos habla sobre un pobre tipo que busca conquistar una mujer.
8. R.E.M. – Everybody Hurts: “Everybody Hurts” es una de esas baladas que te rompen el corazón. Encantadora por donde se la mire. Una curiosidad: John Paul Jones de Zeppelin colaboró en los arreglos de la misma.
